What is GreenSign? – Our sustainability certification

Our hotel has been awarded the GreenSign certificate, one of the leading sustainability seals in the hotel industry. For you as a guest, this means that your stay with us is not only comfortable, but also demonstrably environmentally friendly and resource-efficient.

GreenSign is an internationally recognized certification that holistically assesses hotels for their sustainability performance. It considers not only ecological aspects such as energy, water, and waste, but also social responsibility, regional value creation, fair treatment of employees, and economically sustainable practices.

In order for a hotel to carry the GreenSign seal, it must undergo a multi-stage process:

• Extensive self-assessment based on a catalog of over 130 criteria.
• On-site audit by independent auditors.
• Assessment at various sustainability levels, which transparently show how well a hotel performs in each area.

The certification is valid for three years and is regularly re-evaluated – so we are constantly working on improvements.
